China
The light in China is a real issue. It can be crystal clear, silver, but is often completely smoggy. I had to redo some images in spring when the sky finally got clear again.
These extracts are from my six months trip to China with the art director Chloé Berthaudin. During our residency in Shanghai I travelled from Hong Kong to Chengdu, crossing Beijing and the countryside with my 4x5 Camera. Those images are issued from different series. But they all focus on the clash between growing architecture and nature.
