Passion Fruit

In 2011, I felt in love with my girlfriend when we were learning French in Beijing. We left for Paris and started our studies in 2013. She is very sensitive and melancholic. It was not easy at the beginning because it was the first time that we had no personal space. Our relationship was no longer romantic, we were stressed by our new lives in a foreign country. We had a lot of quarrels.

I began taking portraits and documentary photos of my girlfriend, my private life, my memories with love and cold violence. Now we’ve been living together for more than 4 years. We’ve learnt how to get along with each other. We are more like a family now. I still love taking photos her face, her eyes gazing at me, gentle and infinite.

Life is just like a passion fruit, it has so many flavors.
